While my book projects have been coming along slowly but surely, I have been working on this portrait as well. This is a piece for the boyscout camp, Camp Squanto, in Plymouth MA. depicting the Native American Squanto. The second picture was generously provided by Jenny Whittier (the woman on the left), of a celebration for her father (the man on the far right) and the unveiling of the portrait. So rarely do I get to see pieces I have done in action, so this was a real pleasure to see. Mostly for the smile on Jenny’s father’s face.
